I tried renaming before finding your blog, the crashes only seemed to happen AFTER loading into the world - I only had Elin wearing them on my character screen and that seemed to work just fine, so perhaps it's a different race causing the crashes? Didn't bother moving to an empty zone or anything before reverting to the non-modded version. I really hope you can figure it out though, the changes almost completely defeat the purpose of the outfit in the first place.
It's generally being speculated that the blue/red jumpsuits are the source of the crashes. I'm working on not-so-simply shifting the mesh data from the old one into the new one for each bunny suit, and other workarounds.
I love how this has the very fortunate side effect of completely removing the jumpsuits of death from the game, resulting in a disembodied head and flying weapon on anyone wearing one.
